But really, this is about the plants of ICF, who show up each week (with the gracious help of many hands!) to nourish our households fortunate enough to be part of this season's dance, which reminds me of a quote from Alice Walker (the first African-American woman to win a Pulitzer Prize):
“I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field
somewhere and don't notice it.”
Perhaps the same can be said for not noticing plants
in general. Consider participating in the ICF CSA as form of rapprochement!

Nearing the end of the summer squash! A mix of courgette, butterstick and patty pan this week.
I overheard a Game of Thrones pun (source: Camil) at the CSA pick up in reference to the Dragon Tongue beans. Nicely played.
Upon unpacking the share, our family ate this week's cuke in less than 60 seconds. The intensity of the moment was concerning.
